My friend's mom who is in her 70's showed me a collection of her hand-made bears when I went to her house last Friday. I was in awe - each one painstakingly put together, using real fur and mohair for most. What I am most impressed with though is the philosophy she adopts for her bears... She told me that each one is of a different shape and size and not one is MADE PERFECT. "Animals are just like humans, they are not perfect, no?" she said with a big smile!

The lovely Button was sold to a bear collector at the Mille Fleur bazaar we took part in at the Clark Quay yesterday!
